no . There is a better way to transfer your music from your old ipod to your new ipod.,you needn't buy them again from itunes .

you just need a small third party program, ipod transfer. Then you only need to transfer the music from old ipod to your PC,and then transfer from your PC to your new ipod.

There is little programe to support device to device now. In my opinion ,this is a rather decent way.

In recent days i met a friend who has an iPod with bunch of cool music on it. so I would like to enjoy these cool songs on my ipod, but I do not know how to get them.luckily my friend told me a great tool called aniosoft iBackup, which can transfer music from ipod to iTunes and it's super-fast, only need a few minutes.so i recommend this one to all of you with problem of transferring music off iPod/iPhone.
It won't be a problem if you use AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer.

It can simultaneously manage all the iPods in the same interface, you may transfer files among these iPods by drag-and-drop. Really makes music and videos sharing pretty simple and enjoyable. Wish this can help and good luck.

I think its step by step guide is most helpful.
