How to carry/transfer Xbox Live account made on computer to Xbox 360 console?

I made an account online at xbox.com BEFORE I got my 360 and I started out with Silver.



So, how would I carry that account over to my newly bought (today) 360?How to carry/transfer Xbox Live account made on computer to Xbox 360 console?
Just go to recover gamertag I think. then sign in using your email and password from the one you made on your pc.
